The Enchanted Gallery Regularly Updates at Pinterest!

The Enchanted Gallery is now regularly updating all new photographs added within the many pages of www.TheEnchantedGallery.com at one convenient place - PINTEREST!

If you're new to Pinterest, basically it is a picture board website where you can "pin" (post) photos you find around the internet onto easily organizable "boards" (custom categories.) It also allows you to see what new items have been added to a website you want to follow. Since this blog requires a lot more time and effort to make posts about new content, I have decided to put the bulk of my efforts into Pinterest for website updates.

You can follow all of my boards to be notified of everything I update, including all new products, tutorials, photography, artwork and craft project inspiration from my favorite websites. You can also follow/subscribe to specific "boards" (themed folders of images) for just the things you want to see. For example, alcohol ink projects OR jewelry making supplies and pendant trays OR new rubber stamp sheets. Unlike this blog, you can choose to follow only the types of projects that are within your interest, or you can follow them all to see every new product and tutorial as soon as it comes out.

Here's an idea of what the Pinterest website looks like:

I may still periodically post here in the future, but Pinterest will be much more active since it allows me to instantly place an image onto my boards as soon as it is uploaded to my website. For the most current look at what is new at The Enchanted Gallery, I invite you to come visit me at http://www.pinterest.com/kimberlycrick/

Thank you :)

New Martha Stewart Flexible Molds and Wood Buttons

New Martha Stewart molds have arrived on the nature and terrarium themed page. These flexible silicone molds are great for air dry or polymer clay, resin, UTEE, etc.

I've also added tiny wood buttons that have the word "handmade" burned into one side to the embellishment page.

Since the back of these buttons are flat, I couldn't help but experiment with rubber stamping them. I colored them with Copic markers and stamped using deer and bunny rabbit images from the woodland rubber stamp set.

I added highlights with a white Sharpie paint marker. I attached them to chain with 6mm jump rings and attached the glass leaf bead with a 7mm jump ring.

These would make a cute charm bracelet, I think I'm going to work on an animal themed one :)

Coming soon: mini foam toadstool mushrooms for potted plants and terrarium art, new glass shapes for photo pendants, pre drilled mini domino bracelet kits and new rubber stamp sheets.

In Crafting News- No More KrystalKraft Acrylic Shapes

I received word today that "Sunday International", a rubber stamping and craft supplies company that I have purchased from for many years, has been purchased by / merged with the "Crafters Companion" company. Unfortunately this means a lot of their products I have grown to love are being discontinued.

The biggest change that this brings to The Enchanted Gallery is that the KrystalKraft Clear Acrylic Shapes page will be going away soon. I am selling the last remaining stock I have of these shapes before shutting that section down.

Farewell KrystalKraft acrylic, it has been fun crafting with you all these years!

Hello Kitty Cuckoo Clock - MDF Kit by KaiserCraft

I was looking at new goodies that came in at my local scrapbooking store, and this cuckoo clock kit from KaiserCraft caught my eye.

I've always wanted a cuckoo clock, but boy are those things expensive. Every once in a while super cute and girly things catch my eye (ie. pink/glitter/kittens) and I remembered I had these little Hello Kitty toy figurines I collected ages ago...

And Hello Kitty as a mermaid (Yay! Mermaids and cats - a Mercat?)

I used some scrapbooking paper by BasicGrey attached with mod podge, decorated the edges with glitter glue, added a little wood tray for the mer-cat to sit, and some necklace chain to hang the dangly parts. Here's my finished clock:

More ideas on how to decorate your cuckoo clock kit over at the
Kaisercraft blog.
